Lab-Created Pink Sapphire Ring
Condition: Used - Excellent
Ring Size: 5 (15.6mm)
From the setting to the size and cut of the stone, this pink sapphire ring is gorgeous!
I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I didn’t even know that pink sapphires existed - in OR outside of a lab! Given that the word “sapphire” is derived from both Latin and Greek words for blue, I don’t feel too badly.
Pink sapphires are found in nature, particularly in Sri Lanka and Madagascar. And there aren’t a whole bunch, which means they are pricey. Fortunately for those of us who don’t have deep pockets but love beautiful jewelry, technology has made them more affordable. Lab-created pink sapphires have the same ingredients as those found naturally and are often difficult to identify as lab-created. Yay, science!
You can learn more about the history of pink sapphires HERE, including their astrological benefits. Which I think is the same as saying “metaphysical properties.”
