VIntage Seashell Magnolia Bauble
Condition: Pre-Owned - Very Good
Dimensions: 2.5” X 2.5”
This interesting little trinket came to the Mercantile as part of a collection of salt cellars / boxes, but there are so many little nooks and crannies that I’m not convinced that was its original purpose. Although it could be. (My job is sooo hard! 😜)
Overlapping half shells serve as petals to a lovely, opaque flower with a center of tiny red beads. This arrangement sits atop a larger shell that serves as a pedestal. Regardless of its salt cellar status, this seashell magnolia is an adorably unusual home décor / conversation piece!
No, your eyes do not deceive you; there is a “17” drawn on the bottom of the seashell base. I’m far too scared to try to remove it myself!
