Universal Cambridge Pottery Crock

$11.00

Condition: Pre-owned - Fair

Dimensions: 3.5” x 3”

This little piece of pottery just oozes autumn! I think it’s the cattails.

Universal Cambridge pottery was produced in Cambridge, OH between 1926 and 1976. It’s got a fairly interesting history, which you can learn about HERE.

Actually, anything that’s been around for 50 years probably has an interesting history. Except me. I’m boring.

This cattail crock has a crack as seen in the photos. But - in my opinion - it does little to detract from the piece. Think of it as a Liberty Bell-type imperfection . . . it’s hard to imagine it WITHOUT the crack.

You’ve probably seen other Universal Cambridge pieces without realizing their origin. Visit THIS page to see what I’m talking about. Even if you don’t recognize the pottery designs, you might get a kick out of the vintage advertisements!
